Giving Cats a Little Extra Help with Grooming
While cats are usually very capable self-groomers, those with longer hair may need some extra assistance. Furthermore, as any cat ages, it may need a bit of help to maintain its high standards of grooming. Many cats are not huge fans of their spa visits, but we try to make the experience as stress-free as possible by utilizing Fear Free techniques. This includes Feliway pheromone sprays to promote relaxation, as well as calming medications if needed. For cats who are still stressed, we may use some light sedation. These kitties will be monitored by trained medical staff to ensure their safety.
